South Bay Bisexual Organizers and Activists (SoBOA) Serving the bi community and its friends in the south San Francisco Bay area Since May of 1996, South Bay Bisexual Organizers and Activists (SoBOA) has served as a focal point for the bisexual community in the south bay. The mission of SoBOA is to help eliminate prejudice and discrimination against bisexual people and to promote a safe and supportive environment for people to discover, explore, and integrate their sexual orientation into their lives. SoBOA works on its own and in collaboration with other groups to provide social, educational, and advocacy services to the south bay bisexual community. Its most visible program is Bi-Friendly South Bay, a social and recreational group for bisexual people and their friends. SoBOA holds a meeting from 4pm - 6pm on the second Sunday of each month to plan Bi-Friendly South Bay socials, bi education and outreach programs, publicity, and fundraising events. If you've got ideas, or simply some time to volunteer, we welcome you to join us. Currently we are meeting at Baker's Square in Los Gatos. SoBOA is a 501(c)(3) non-profit affiliate of the Billy DeFrank Lesbian and Gay Community Center of San Jose. Tax-deductible donations are cheerfully accepted. Please send check or money order payable to "SoBOA" to the following address:

Meetings Our meetings are more like a bunch of friends having lunch and chatting about things. Why don't you come by for the next one? Help us plan events, pride activities, fundraisers, outreach, and more! Mark it in your calendar: second Sunday of the month at Baker's Square in Los Gatos.
